Super chill vibes by the river! We had the most lekker brekkie on the terrace with a stunning view, and the staff were so helpful with plans. Kayaked to the waterfall, which was a nice way to spend the day!

the rooms have character, but I definitely expected a complimentary upgrade for all the hassle. no laundry facilities, no jacuzzi, how am I supposed to relax? I almost gave a good review, but honestly, it just wouldn’t be fair to those who think mediocrity is okay. not what I’d call luxury, too sad.

moontide is such an amazin place! the views from the deck while havin breakfast were just perfect, really loved chillin there under the trees. the staff made us feel at home, especially candy, she was super friendly! got kayaks for free which was awesome to paddle around the river, we liked it a lot. every detail in our room was cozy and funky, just made the stay feel even better.

moontide was an amazing spot to relax! the tree tops room had stunning views of the surrounding forest. breakfast was a treat, served on the terrace with breathtaking scenery. we loved our peaceful walks along the fossilized sandstone cliffs leading to crystal-clear pools. it was pure bliss!

We had a fantastic stay with lovely times spent by the river, swimming and canoeing with our little dog. The location was spot on, just a short walk from one of the best beaches around. Breakfast was a highlight with great options for families.

The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated—perfect for relaxation after a day spent kayaking or exploring local sights. I wish the kayak access could be more organized for easier use.
